I’m quickly discovering that asynchronous multiplayer games fit iOS perfectly. Case in point: Hero Academy by Robot Entertainment. I love Robot’s Orc’s Must Die on PC, and so I went into this game expecting good things and wasn’t disappointed. This isn’t a proper review, just a heads-up that this game is definitely worth your time!
The game is free and ad-supported. The ads are really intrusive and if you like the game you’ll surely pay to remove them. The ads are removed when you buy a premium ‘team’ via IAP. Currently there are only the Dark Elves available for purchase (I got them for 99c, but I believe that was a sale price). So for a single price you remove the ads and get a new team with new powers to play with.Continue Reading
