Artem Bykov has left Blizzard Entertainment to join ESL Gaming as its new general manager of game management. Bykov spent more than five years at Blizzard in various esports-related roles including overseeing Hearthstone, StarCraft, Warcraft, and Heroes of the Storm esports in EMEA and as an esports program manager for Europe.
Bykov made the announcement on social media Wednesday: “I’m excited to start my new job at ESL Gaming! I always admired storylines and products that incredibly talented people at ESL created over the past 20 years. It’s an honor to join them! Thank you everyone at ESL for the very warm welcome.”
Prior to joining Blizzard, Bykov worked as a product manager at Epic Esports Events, a team manager at Natus Vincere, and as a project specialist at Freaks 4U Gaming.
