DreamHack Sports Games and gaming peripheral company HyperX announced Tuesday a partnership for the upcoming fifth season of the FIFA esports competition, eSuperliga. Financial terms were not disclosed. Under the terms of the deal, HyperX will equip the eSuperliga studio and player practice room with its various gaming products.
eSuperliga Season 5 will feature FIFA teams from 15 soccer clubs in Denmark competing for a total prize pool of more than $50K USD.
Participating teams include F.C. Copenhagen, FC Midtjylland, Brøndby IF, Aalborg BK, AC Horsens, Aarhus GF, Esbjerg fB, FC Helsingør, FC Nordsjælland, Hobro IK, Lyngby BK, Odense BK, Randers FC, SønderjyskE, and Vejle BK.
Season 5, which begins today, will be broadcast through Danish TV channel TV3 Max and Nordic Entertainment Group’s online video streaming service, Viaplay.
HyperX joins L33T-Gaming, which was named the official chair partner for the Denmark-based FIFA esports league on Oct. 28.
