The Three Best Heroes In Dota 2 Currently

Here are some of the most impressive heroes in the games right now.

We are just days away from Dota 2’s newest update. According to rumors, we will have a lot of new changes, which will probably have a drastic impact on the meta. Until then, we are stuck in 7.27, which was really good for the most part.

If you haven’t reached your desired MMR, now is the time to grab a few easy wins by playing the best heroes in the game. In this review, we will take a look at some of the most successful heroes in the highest MMR bracket (Divine and Immortal).

Broodmother

If there is one hero that almost everyone hates, it has to be Broodmother. This is one of the few mid laners that can carry the game alone, given it has a decent mid matchup. Broodmother is extremely annoying to deal with because she can farm the lane and the jungle at the same time.

On top of that, the hero is one of the best pushers in the game. Therefore, it can bring a tier 2 tower in less than 10 minutes. To make matters worse, Brood can literally one-shot support heroes because she usually rushes to buy a Desolator.  Thanks to the minus armor, the hero is dangerous.

Similar to any other Dota 2 hero, there are ways to deal with this pesky bugger. Usually, people pick counter heroes, such as Legion Commander and Earthshaker. However, they are not always effective, especially if the person who plays Broodmother is good.

Lycan

The second hero that is on this list is Lycan. This used to be the best hero in Dota 2 a few months ago, but he nerfed. Despite that, the best players in the world figured out a new way to utilize him, which is why he quickly rose to the top.

Lycan allows his team to bet really dangerous in the mid game and easily push the enemy base. Thanks to his unique ultimate, the hero can become really strong early on and absolutely rip through his enemies like a knife through butter.

Even though he is not that strong later on, the game usually finishes before that.

Omniknight

The last hero on this list is Omniknight. Most old-school Dota 2 players probably remember the time where this hero was paired up with Outworld Devourer. However, this meta is long gone, which is why it’s not a surprise that Omni is a lot different now.

Instead of being the go-to option for most position five players, the hero is one of the best offlaners. Thanks to his durability, he is able to stand his ground against deadly lanes, which makes him ideal in certain scenarios.

Right now, Omni has around a 55% win rating, according to DotaBuff. Needless to say, we expect IceFrog to nerf him a lot in the upcoming update.
