vanity officially released from eUnited

Anthony “vanity” Malaspina has officially parted ways with eUnited the player has revealed. The 21-year-old had been with the team since February of 2019 when eUnited picked up the Swole Patrol trio including Edgar “MarKE” Maldonado and Victor “food” Wong.

Unfortunately for vanity and the squad, eUnited was unable to make much noise over the last year. The in-game leader helped the team make it to the second group stage in two ESL Pro League seasons, however, that was much of the success the team saw.

eUnited would come in last at DreamHack Open Rio, IEM Sydney, the Americas Minor. With these results, Ryan “freakazoid” Abadir stepped into the leadership role and Kaleb “moose” Jayne was brought back from the bench.

There hasn’t been much improvement, however, with rather lackluster results following including a 7th-8th place finished at EPL and no successful qualification runs to end 2019.

Fans of vanity can expected an update about his future “soon” according to the tweet announcing the separation from the organization. He also thanked eUnited, his former teammates, and those behind the scenes “for everything they’ve done” for him.
