Virtus.pro sign AVANGAR lineup

Its the beginning of a new era in Virtus.pro Counter-Strike as the organization replaces its Polish lineup with the AVANGAR lineup.

The veteran esports organization had fielded a Polish lineup for the last six years including legends such as Filip “NEO” Kubski, Jarosław “pashaBiceps” Jarząbkowski, and Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas.

The AVANGAR lineup currently sits in 15th place in the HLTV rankings after a relatively break out year. The squad’s miracle run at the StarLadder Major in Berlin helped to cement their place near the top for at least the time being. Being able to follow the impressive event with a win at Moscow’s BLAST Pro Series event certainly helped.

Since then, however, things haven’t been going so well as the squad has been unable to make it out of the group stage at StarSeries i-League Season 8 and the ECS Season 8 Finals.

This move sees Dauren “AdreN” Kystaubayev return to Virtus.pro, having been a member of the original CS:GO lineup for the organization.

Fans can check out the new Virtus.pro lineup in action this week during the group stage of EPICENTER 2019 in their match against mousesports.
