The latest limited-edition PC case from NZXT is one that Eivor himself would wield proudly.
NZXT cases are popular for a reason. They make life easy for first-time PC-builders, they’re fairly priced, they’re quiet, and—most importantly—they look good. As if that wasn’t enough, NZXT also touts a line of limited-edition cases that feature iconography from games like Overwatch, World of Warcraft, and Rainbow Six Siege.
The most recent addition to the company’s list of limited-edition CRFT cases is a tasteful homage to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, designed in coordination with Ubisoft, that arrives in the form of a compact, mid-tower H510 case.
The case is NZXT’s eighth limited-edition PC tower and features design inspired by Norse mythology, including portraits of Odin’s raven, wolf, and steed. Other notable features include:
- Distressed “battle-scarred” metal encasement
- LED Assassin’s Creed Valhalla logo
- Headphone dock designed to resemble Eivor’s shield
- Tempered glass side panel
- USB 3.1 Gen 2 USB-C connector
- Eivor’s Viking brooch included with purchase
There are only 500 CRFT 08 H510 cases available for purchase at NZXT.com, each of which is currently priced at $249.99 USD. The H51—which notably doesn’t spontaneously combust—typically runs for $69.99, when it’s not decked out in Norse-inspired graphics.
Is having Odin’s raven watch over you while you game worth the extra $180.00? I guess it depends on how much you love the game. The case is a bit pricier than past special releases but it’s also a bit cooler. The World of Warcraft case is on sale for $199.99 and the Overwatch case is unavailable but sold for $149.99, for comparison.
If you do choose to spring for the case, it will be a purchase fueled almost by a pure passion for the franchise, as there are no augmented performance capabilities that come with this limited-edition piece of hardware—unless you count the confidence boost that comes with owning a kickass PC case, that is.
