BlizzCon 2019 time, dates, tickets and what to expect from Blizzard this year

Blizzard has announced BlizzCon 2019 – and you can expect it to be one of the biggest gaming events of the year.

Blizzard Entertainment’s celebration of games, esports, and community returns to the Anaheim Convention Center November 1 and 2 — the same place and (nearly) the same dates as last year.

You can expect this year to be a pretty fancy affair, too: this BlizzCon will be celebrating the 25th year of World of Warcraft, so you can assume there'll be some pretty big events to celebrate that.

For instance, we know that there will be a collectible Orc Grunt or Human Footman that attendees can grab on the show floor at BlizzCon.

When does BlizzCon 2019 start?

2019 BlizzCon will begin at 16:30 on Friday, 1 November and ends at 05:00 on Sunday, 3 November (UK time).

There will be some pre-game events, too: these start on Thursday, October 31, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. PDT

What will BlizzCon 2019 feature?

After wrapping up the Overwatch League Finals at the end of September/start of October, Blizzard also announced the return of the Overwatch World Cup at BlizzCon 2019.

This will feature the six best Overwatch nations around the world, all taking to the stage and fighting for the top spot for the fourth year in a row.

It's usually a pretty fascinating spectacle, so tune in and watch the chaos unfold.

Where can I get BlizzCon 2019 tickets?

Tickets for the event have sold out, but there is an exchange process in place for players that either nabbed a ticket and now can't go, or bought a pass to the live streams and would instead like to attend.

"Missed your chance at a BlizzCon Pass? Have a ticket but now can’t make it?" reads the website.

Official Pass Resale is the place to buy and sell BlizzCon Passes from fans for fans. Highlights of using the Official Pass Exchange include:

  • Passes bought through the Official Pass Exchange are always authentic.
  • Fair prices, no hidden fees, guaranteed.
