Servers for the popular Battle Royale are temporarily down tonight for gamers in the UK and North America.
The good news is that the outage appears to be limited in scope, meaning it should end quickly. However, until a fix is implemented, COD fans might find themselves being booted from active Call of Duty Warzone servers, and also find themselves unable to login.
It’s currently unclear what is causing tonight’s problems and why Call of Duty Warzone is down. Gamers are reporting seeing Error 5476 messages appearing on their screen when trying to join games.
If tonight’s outage does last longer than expected, Activision support pages will provide the next updates on the situation.
One affected user writes: “It’s down in the US and keeps going to Warzone and then exiting out with DEV ERROR 5476.”
Another adds: “Same here in Saudi Arabia, Dev error 5476 and then crashes back to desktop.”
