Fall Guys Fan Gets Unblocked For Writing A Hilarious Apology

Making a community manager mad is probably the last thing that you want to do—especially if it’s the manager for Fall Guys. Of course, that’s exactly what one Twitter user did, but they were given the chance to get unblocked by writing a pretty ridiculous apology letter.

Nothing serious actually happened to get the user blocked. There was no abuse or harassment involved, although, there were damaged egos—and light-hearted punishments. As you may or may not know, there are several Fall Guys Twitter accounts, each one with its own flavor of humor and level of trolling.

This one in particular, is from @Oliverage24, who is not—in fact—24 years of age. He is, however, the verified Fall Guys community manager. So, when one user claimed that Fall Guys was a “dead game” they were promptly blocked. For whatever reason, Oliver decided to see what this person was tweeting after blocking them. What he found was someone begging to be unblocked. Obviously, this was a perfect opportunity for some fun.

Oliver asked the person to write lines. As in Bart-Simpson-stuck-in-detention lines that read, “Fall Guys is not actually a dead game and I like to see their tweets.” Surprisingly, the banned person actually did it, which earned them a second chance with the community. It’s not often that a banned user will get a second chance, but it does happen—sometimes with just an apology and a demonstration of your remorse.

Fall Guys is generally a wholesome game with developers and community members helping to keep the feeling light and playful. We think that this kind of punishment fits the crime and we are glad to see that the user was unblocked. We also genuinely appreciate the laugh that it provided us. We didn’t think that we would see the day when a community manager would demand someone write lines for forgiveness, let alone actually seeing it done. We hope that the community remains as innocent and fun as it has been since the game’s launch. We don’t know about you, but we’re looking forward to seeing what happens the rest of the year.
