EA Sports has got a whole load of new content for you to unwrap this Friday, announcing the FUTMAS event as well as some great news for TOTY ultimate team players.
Let's start with the FUTMAS Event.
Every day, starting December 13, players will be able to unwrap a new FUTMAS Squad Building Challenge (SBC) every day, as well as earn a new festive kit.
Here's how it works, as per EA Sports:
"Two daily Player SBCs will be available for just 24 hours between December 13 and 24, and will focus around two themes each day:
- In the spirit of FUTMAS past, one of the daily Player SBCs will be inspired by the latest FIFA Men’s International rankings as of November 28. The Nation category will start on December 13 with Axel Witsel from Belgium, who are ranked first in the world, and will finish on December 24 with a player from Switzerland, who are ranked 12th.
- The second daily Player SBC will be selected from clubs in either the Premier League, Bundesliga, LaLiga, Ligue 1 and Serie A, and based on their final league position from the 2018/19 season. The League category will begin on December 13 with Moses Simon from FC Nantes, who finished 12th in Ligue 1 last season, counting down to December 24 with a player who lifted their league’s trophy in 2018/19.
So in total, you've got 24 player SBCs between now and December 24.
Then there are six more FUTMAS players also available via Objectives too. That's 30 new FUTMAS players to pick up this festive season.
FIFA 20 TEAM OF THE YEAR
On top of the FUTMAS festivities, players can also unpack all 55 FIFA 20 Team of the Year Nominees for a limited time.
However, Sadio Mané and Marco Reus will be added on Wednesday because they are in the current Team of the Week squad.
"With dynamic images and a +1 OVR boost over their base item, add the best players in the world over the past 12 months to your club."
You can also nominate which players you want to feature in the final Team of the Year by voting for your Ultimate XI before December 20!
Attacking players that have been nominated include Mo Salah, Raheem Sterling, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Eden Hazard, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
Defensive players that have been nominated include Sergio Ramos, Virgil Van Dijk, Jordi Alba, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Matthijs de Ligt.
