Epic is continuing its trend of keeping Fortnite information pretty scant.
The game has been taken offline for its scheduled downtime today, but in lieu of giving us any significant patch notes, the studio has simply pushed the update out.
Early dataminer reports suggest that the update is fairly bare: one new skin variant is tucked away in htere, and three new data strings for the Lace Variant cosmetic.
As per Skin-Tracker :
"Just 3 new Strings, 2 for the new Lace Variant: An extra style option for Lace, Bounty Token [and] Lace (Fashion)"
The only sort of actual patch notes we have from the studio comes in the form of bug fixes we know they'll be applying thanks to the Trello board.
As this story progresses – and if Epic issues any more updates – we'll keep you updated.
Early Patch notes
• Show FPS option is missing from the settings in Battle Royale/Creative.
• The refund token count is displaying incorrectly.
We are investigating reports of controller input delay for the following actions in Creative:
• Placing builds
• Switching modes
• Players will encounter billboards with default texture shown if they close the phone tool immediately after pasting the billboard. When players copy and paste the billboard, they can also see a brief flicker of the default texture as well.
• We're aware of an increase of low-detailed buildings on Nintendo Switch and will have this resolved in the next release.
