Gamers are reporting problems playing Genshin Impact on PS5 consoles tonight due to an account issue.
Those who have been affected say that whenever they try and log in, they get an error message stating that their third party account is not yet registered.
These problems are mostly being flagged on PS5 consoles, but there are reports of issues on PC as well.
One user writes: “I’m a PC player, but for some reason, I can’t even launch the game. Am I the only one with the PC issue?
Another adds: “PS4 is having the same issue. Just has a black screen for a long time before it finally launches the game, and after that, it doesn’t connect to the server.”
The good news is that reports of these issues are now dropping, which means the problems could be subsiding.
There has been no official response to the problem on the Genshin Impact Twitter account, and there are no ETAs on when everything will return to normal.
