All the leaks about extra Mortal Kombat 11 characters have turned out to be true, with the T-800 Terminator out next.
After a series of leaks, including the trailer itself yesterday, Warner Bros. has given up trying to keep Mortal Kombat 11’s new DLC characters a secret and has released the video below.
The upcoming ‘Kombat Pack’ features Shang Tsung and Nightwolf, who are already out now, plus the Terminator T-800 from new movie Terminator: Dark Fate – which is why Arnie is looking extra old and has a beard.
The T-800 is out on 8 October, and he’ll be followed by existing Mortal Kombat character Sindel on 24 November, Batman nemesis Joker on 28 January, and comic book anti-hero Spawn on 17 March.
There’s good reason to believe that there are more to come though, as a previous DLC trailer ended up with a tease for someone using a chainsaw and buckets of blood – which doesn’t match up with any of these characters.
That followed another leak featuring three additional names not mentioned in this trailer: Fujin, Sheeva, and Ash. The first two are Mortal Kombat (semi-)regulars while Ash is widely believed to be Ash Williams from the Evil Dead movies, especially after the chainsaw hint.
If it weren’t for that tease we’d assume plans for those three characters had been ditched but It’s unlikely that just three would be released in the next pack, if there is one, so there’s very probably additional fighters that we know nothing about at the moment.
Judging by previous events though they’ll probably get leaked sooner or later.
