Outer Wilds was released in May 2019 for PC and Xbox One to great critical reception.
The open world action-adventure game scored 85 out of 100 on Meteoritic – meaning fans loved it.
However, PlayStation 4 owners were left in the dark, and wanted a piece of the pie.
There was initially no news on wether or not the Mobius Digital game would come to PS4.
However, now we have some exciting news.
When will Outer Wilds come to PS4?
Outer Wilds is coming out on PS4 on Tuesday, October 15.
The Sony console shared the epic news on their official Twitter account, and the PlayStation blog website.
Mobius Digital didn't initially announce any plans to bring Outer Wilds to PS4 when the game released in May.
When the game made an appearance at Xbox E3 2018, it was marketed as a “Console Launch Exclusive”.
Sadly, this meant the game would only launch on Xbox One.
But that didn't mean all hope is lost.
This was also the case with Inside, and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG).
So, in some cases games come to other consoles six to 12 months later.
Given the raving success of Outer Wilds, we aren't surprised the game is coming to PS4 so soon.
What is Outer Wilds?
