Pokemon Go Safari Zone events are back in the UK and US.

After events were cancelled during the COVID pandemic, Niantic is bringing the Safari Zone to Liverpool’s Sefton Park.

Originally planned for 2020, the Liverpool Safari Zone event runs from October 15 until October 17.

Early Access ticket holders can attend the event from 10am BST until 6pm, while regular ticket holders can enter at 12pm BST.

In order to attend the event in person, ticket holders must respond to an email sent by Niantic. No additional tickets will be sold for the event.

If you can’t attend the event in person but still have a ticket, you can take part remotely via the app.

“Not only will these Safari Zone celebrations take place in their original park locations, but also ticket holders will be able to participate in the event they have a ticket for, no matter where they are in the world.”

Unfortunately, the City Explorer Pass experience has been cancelled, and ticket holders should have received a refund.

Whether you attend in person or take part remotely, ticket holders will benefit from countless rewards and bonuses.

According to Niantic, featured Pokemon will appear more frequently in the wild and will be attracted to Incense.

Ticket holders can also take part in event-exclusive Special Research and Field Research tasks for additional bonuses.

Elsewhere, Incense activated during event hours will last for eight hours, while Lure Modules will last for four hours. Special 2 km Eggs will also be available.

Fans attending in person will be able to purchase exclusive merchandise and take part in various photo opps.

“Join your fellow Trainers in Sefton Park to enjoy photo opportunities, giveaways, merchandise sales, and lounge areas as you participate in this event,” Niantic explains.

“All ticket holders who would like to join the event in-person at Sefton Park must RSVP.

“This is so that we have an accurate count of those who plan to attend in-person, and to make sure we keep the event space safe for distanced gathering.”
