PS Plus January 2021 line-up is getting announced shortly, with Sony set to release a fresh batch of free PS4 games for PlayStation Plus members. The PS Plus January 2021 line-up is set to be revealed this week, with an announcement on the next selection of free PS4 games looking like it will take place on Wednesday December 30 at 4.30pm. The current PS Plus line-up includes Just Cause 4 and Rocket Arena as free PS4 games, while Worms Rumble is a free PS4 and PS5 title.

Also available to download for free on the PS5 right now is Bugsnax, which was available via PS Plus at the console’s launch in November.

However Bugsnax – like Worms Rumble, Just Cause 4 and Rocket Arena – will be making way for a new selection of free games when the PS Plus January 2021 line-up goes live on Monday January 4 2021.

It remains to be seen what games will be included in the PS Plus January 2021 line-up, and whether there will be more free PS5 games getting added.

We know Destruction AllStars is getting added to PS Plus as a free game in February, and we’ll have to wait and see whether another free PS5 game gets added to PS Plus before then.

PS5: Sony unveil pricing for PlayStation 5 console

But as we wait for an official announcement from Sony predictions have been made about which games will feature in the next PS Plus line-up on the PS Plus Reddit.

The PlayStation Plus Reddit has an extremely reliable track record, correctly predicting games that featured in almost every month’s line-up last year (bar April where the line-up leaked early and May).

And ahead of the January 2021 PlayStation Plus line-up getting announced predictions have been made for the next inbound free PS4 and PS5 games.

Members of the PS Plus Reddit have predicted games such as Uncharted Lost Legacy, Yakuza Kiwami 2, Dark Souls Remastered and Hitman 2 could be among the next free PS4 downloads.

Other picks from the PS Plus Reddit for the PS4 include Watch Dogs 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, Nier Automata, Firewatch and MediEvil.

While members of the PS Plus Reddit page have also predicted that Planet Coaster could be the next free PS5 download in January.

As with all rumours, it’s best to take them with a pinch of salt until official confirmation.

But 2020 has been a year where the PS Plus free games line-up has consistently delivered, so here’s hoping 2021 also opens with another great selection of free games.

The upcoming release of the PS Plus January 2021 line-up means time is running out to download the December 2020 selection of free games.
