Sony's popular PlayStation 4 console has got a new firmware patch this morning, and version 7.01 comes with a new patch that makes a few quality of life changes to how the PlayStation 4 works.
Many of these will improve the general quality of life for gamers, and make the PS4 just that bit more stable.
The update, which has been available since the early hours of this morning for UK players, just makes the console a tab more reliable – that's right, it's one of Sony's stability fixes for the game.
There doesn't appear to be any new headline features of fancy updates as part of this patch, and the download weighs in at a manageable 447.9MB. So it shouldn't take too long to download.
