PS5 back in stock at BT and EE for UK customers on Thursday

The most reliable source of PS5 pre-orders in the UK has got stock back in again, but they’re not saying when you’ll be able to buy it.

PlayStation 5 pre-orders were pretty much a disaster the first time round, with Sony giving no warning that they’d start and multiple retailer websites falling down under the strain.

Things were only a little better on launch day, with one of the only reliable sources being BT – who seemed to have plenty in stock and were able to sell them to existing BT broadband and EE customers.

They still sold out the same day but now BT has announced that it will have more stock in on Thursday, December 3 – the only problem is they’re not saying exactly when.

They’re keeping it a secret so their site doesn’t get hammered by either normal customers or scalpers trying to buy up the whole lot at once.

To order your PlayStation 5 console you have to be an existing BT broadband customer, but if you are you can go to MyBT, at whatever point the orders start, and hope you get lucky.

Alternatively, if you’re an EE mobile customer you can pay for the PlayStation 5 over 11 interest free monthly payments via EE’s Add to Plan service.

We’ll let you know, by updating this article, as soon as orders start but it might be worth keeping an eye on the BT Twitter account as well.

If you still don’t manage to get a console – or aren’t a BT or EE customer – then other retailers are also expected to get stock of the PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, this month as well.

None of them have been specific about when though, so for now we’d take your chance with BT if you can.
