Mario Kart Tour is the next big mobile game from Nintendo and it's coming to your smartphones this week.
For those who don't know, the game is a free-to-play version of the classic kart-racing series designed specifically for Android and iOS (iPhone & iPad) devices.
Whilst aspects of the game will no doubt be familiar to long-time fans, the game will also have its own unique selling point, such as real-world locations – such as New York, Tokyo, and Paris – given the Mario treatment.
A release date for the game has been known for some time, but now we have a clearer idea of when you can start those engines and get playing on the go.
WHEN IS MARIO KART TOUR COMING OUT?
The official Mario Kart Tour twitter account has confirmed a release time for the game for both Android and iOS Platforms.
Luckily for both sets of smartphone owners, the game will be going live at the exact same time on Google Play and Apple App stores.
Something that not all mobile games has managed previously.
Writing on Twitter, the account told fans:
" #MarioKartTour is scheduled to launch around 1am PT/ 8am UTC on 9/25. You may be able to download the app from the App Store or Google Play Store before then, but the game won't be playable until the launch time. Thank you for your patience and happy racing! "
So, for anyone in the UK, that's a start time of around 9am BST on September 25.
Also to reiterate what the official account said, though you may be able to download before that time, servers won't go live until 9am BST.
