Deal Alert: Get 1-Year of PS Plus on Sale, Save Big on Games Through the PlayStation Store

If you buy something through this post, IGN may get a share of the sale. For more, read our Terms of Use.

PlayStation Plus is on sale right now for just $44.95, and PS Plus members can save big on over 800 games in Sony’s The Great Indoors PlayStation sale event. In other words, if you’re one of the almost 92 million people who own a PS4, you can save some money right now on both games and the membership to get free games every month.

12-months PS Plus for $44.95

The best deals are only applicable if you’re a PS Plus member, but as previously pointed out, now is a great time to sign up. If you view the games, and they don’t look like they’re marked down, you’re either logged out or you aren’t a PS Plus member.

There are hundreds of games and add-on content on sale through the PlayStation store right now, for PS4, PS3 and even PS Vita. While you don’t need to be a PS Plus member to score on the savings, the non-member discounts aren’t as dramatic, and you can even find some of the games on sale elsewhere for the non-member prices.

These are digital games, since they’re through the PlayStation Store, so that means you can log in, grab some deals on PS4 games, and have them download to your console while you’re at work. A nice little treat for yourself when you get home.

Here are some highlights from the massive sale. These are prices for PS Plus members.

  • God of War for $29.99
  • Red Dead Redemption 2 for $40.19
  • Grand Theft Auto V for $14.99
  • Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition for $15.99
  • Bully for $8.99
  • DOOM for $11.99
  • Saints Row the Third for $2.49
  • …and hundreds more

PlayStation Classic (Still) for $39.99

To be perfectly honest, this mini console is a let-down. In our PlayStation Classic review, we gave it a 5.5. Originally released at $99.99, the PS Classic has seen more than a few price drops, due to lack of interest, and both Walmart and Best Buy are clearing them out at forty bucks a pop. Is the PlayStation Classic worth it for that price? That’s your call to make. It’s definitely hackable and even without its flaws, it’s a pretty neat collectible.
