Sony Announces State of Play Livestream, Will Announce New Games March 25

Sony has announced State of Play: a series of live broadcasts that will reveal new updates and announcements for PS4 and PS VR games. The first episode will be shown March 25.

The announcement was posted to the PlayStation Blog today, and explains that the debut episode will be broadcast at 2:00pm PT on Monday, March 25. That’s 5:00pm for anyone on Eastern Time, 9:00pm for those in the UK, and 7:00am on Tuesday morning for those on Australia East Coast.

The blog details that the first State of Play episode will show new trailers, footage, and game announcements for both PlayStation 4 and PS VR games. Effectively, it appears to be Sony’s equivalent to Nintendo Direct, and with any luck it will be just as revealing.

State of Play will air live on Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook, and can be accessed as a video on demand shortly after the livestream.
