PS Plus December 2023 free PS5 and PS4 games release time, date and line-up

Sony is gearing up to release the next batch of PlayStation Plus games for December 2023. The new PS Plus Essentials have a December 5 release date and an estimated 10am GMT UK launch time. Needless to say, this is also your last chance to redeem the November PlayStation Plus releases, which include Mafia 2 Definitive Edition, Dragon Ball: The Breakers and Aliens Fireteam Elite.  As for the new titles, the headline release is arguably LEGO 2K Drive, which is an arcade racing game set in the LEGO universe.

“Welcome to Bricklandia, home of a massive open-world Lego driving adventure,” reads the official description.

“Race anywhere, play with anyone, build your dream rides, and defeat a cast of wild racing rivals for the coveted Sky Trophy!

“Race across the streets, seas and sands as you build your dream rides, brick by brick, and enjoy Lego 2K Drive’s sprawling story mode.”

The new LEGO release also includes a selection of mini-games, as well as cross-platform multiplayer and lots more.

In addition to LEGO 2K Drive, the December 2023 line-up includes cult favourite Powerwash Simulator.

“Grab your trusty power washer and blast away the grime from vehicles, buildings, parks and more,” Sony explains.

“PowerWash Simulator is a satisfying clean ’em up where the stress is low and the water pressure is high.

“Use your earnings as a professional power washer to upgrade your collection of washers, nozzles, cleaning fluids and extensions, allowing you to tackle bigger jobs and leave them sparkling clean with greater efficiency.

“Leave your mark on the dirt-covered town of Muckingham alone, or chill out with friends in online co-op. Most importantly, make sure you have good, clean fun.”

The final game coming to PS Plus in December is indie favourite Sable, which is a story-based adventure set in the desert.
