The Pokemon Company has announced plans to hold a special video conference in the coming days. The Pokemon Presents stream will take place at 2pm BST UK time on the afternoon of August 8. The conference will last for around 30 minutes and will focus on the “latest happenings across the brand”. It’s especially good news for video game fans, who can expect an update on the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC for Nintendo Switch.
“The Pokemon Company International is inviting fans around the world to tune in to a special Pokemon Presents video presentation, streaming on August 8, 2023, at 2pm BST on the official Pokemon YouTube channel,” reads an official statement.
“Fans can look forward to around half an hour of Pokemon news and a spotlight on the latest happenings across the brand.
A new teaser for the upcoming presentation can be viewed below.
In addition to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet news, The Pokemon Company is also expected to reveal more about upcoming Pokemon Go updates, as well as the latest Pokemon Sleep news and lots more.
As for the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC, the expansion will be released in two parts, beginning with The Teal Mask this autumn.
The Teal Mask shifts the action to the “tranquil Land of Kitakami, whose people live at the base of a great mountain”.
“Wear a traditional jinbei outfit as you meet new friends and Pokemon and unravel the mysteries behind the folk tales of this land.
“Encounter Okidogi, Munkidori and Fezandipiti – three Pokemon celebrated by the people of the village as heroes who protected the Land of Kitakami in the past.
“Discover the Legendary Pokemon Ogerpon with its fearsome mask!”
The Teal Mask will be followed by The Indigo Disk, which is scheduled to launch this winter.
